If you Install on a regular basis then it is recommended that you choose a product that you are comfortable with.
There are many different types of matting, thermostats and probes so it is best to keep it simple and stick to what you know.
It is usually recommended that the heating mats are supplied by a dedicated circuit and rcd protected if installed in a bathroom / special location.
We recommend that you do a simple continuity test before you install the matting because some companies are reluctant to reimburse you once the matting has been laid. Most products are Teflon coated which reduces the chances of damage.
